After running what they call “an unusually successful Kickstarter" last year, long-time RPG developer Spiderweb Software announced this past April that the object of their crowdfunding desires, a brand new game called Queen?s Wish: The Conqueror, would be launching on desktop in Q3 of this year with an iOS version to follow shortly after. Queen?s Wish: The Conqueror has you playing as the Queen’s child who has enjoyed living a fairly luxurious and easy life up until one day when your mother decides you’ve come of age and tosses you out into the war-torn countryside to fend for yourself. Your mother’s thinking is that if you can not only survive but conquer these lands as your own then you’ll have proven you’re more than capable of sitting at the Royal table. However, what she doesn’t anticipate is that perhaps you conquer those lands and decide you don’t NEED the Royal family anymore and suddenly you might find yourself in a position to conquer the ones you previously loved. That’ll teach them not to kick you out on your rear! As with all of Spiderweb’s games, Queen?s Wish: The Conqueror gives you a lot of leeway in terms of how things play out.
