Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for June 9th, 2021. It’s the Wednesday before E3, and for Nintendo Switch news that may well make it one of the quietest days of the year. A few new releases to look at, the usual Super Smash Bros. Ultimate stuff, and a rather small list of sales. Well hey, the articles have been quite large of late. I’ll happily take a quieter day. Let’s see what’s here!

It’s a Flame War in the Next ‘Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’ Event

That time of the week again, my finest friends. It’s Wednesday, and that means we’re getting the announcement of the next weekend event in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I expect next week’s event to have some tie-in with something involving E3, but for now it’s business as usual. Kicking off on Friday and running for three days through the weekend, this Tournament features fighters who use fire in their attacks. Bowser Koopa, Mario, Captain Falcon, Roy, and perhaps a couple more. Only these characters may be used in the tournament. Flame on! New Releases
