Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for December 20th, 2019. There aren’t many days left before Christmas, and apparently everyone and their uncle thought it might be a fine time for another sale. I don’t have all of the more than four hundred games that were discounted listed here, but I do have most of the really good ones. Plus: today’s new releases! And that’s all, because my fingers hurt from typing up those sales. Let’s go!

Farabel ($9.99)

SwitchArcade Highlight!
Farabel is a turn-based strategy game with a really neat hook. The game starts at the end of the story and as you play through you’ll actually be working your way back in time to see how everything started. Beyond that gimmick, time travel also comes into play in a mechanical sense as you can roll back moves on units to take extra turns here and there. As you move backwards through the storyline, your characters actually level down and get weaker. It’s neat, though I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that you can pick this up for a couple of bucks on mobile and get pretty much the same experience. 60 Parsecs! ($9.99)
