Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for July 30th, 2020. In today’s article, we’ve got summaries of all of today’s new releases. There are a handful of really good ones in there, so make sure you check them out. Besides that, it’s just the lists of incoming and outgoing sales, with some nice discounts on Dragon Ball games, Pokken, and Psikyo shoot-em-ups. That’s all we’ve got time for however, as I’ve got a small party to attend in honor of my lack of dying for another full trip around the sun. Let’s blow out the candles!

Okay, so fair warning: this game is one of those rock-hard challenges that will seriously tick you off at times. It’s a deck-building roguelite, following in the lines of things like Slay the Spire but also feeling an awful lot like FTL at times mechanically. Which is to say that you have to think very strategically but also accept that you can do everything right and still have things go ca-ca through sheer bad luck. I absolutely love the setting and style of the game, which is apparently based on Indian culture, and the game itself is quite excellent if you’re patient enough to steer through some frustrating patches here and there. Definitely the game to get today if you’re looking for something to really sink your teeth into. Hotel Sowls ($7.99)
