Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for December 26th, 2019. I hope you all had a nice holiday yesterday. Unless it wasn’t a holiday for you, in which case I hope you had a passable Wednesday. I took a whole day off and I am now deeply regretting it. A ton of new games came out in the last couple of days, and if that wasn’t bad enough, there were a bunch of new sales as well. Even curated, this list is wild. Oh well, it’s done now. Let’s get straight to it!

From the same person that made the ultra-tough platformers kuso and LOVE comes Pulstario, a different kind of game that is just as hard if not more so. You control a little ship and need to collect all of the little while dots in each stage. I guess they’re souls" Anyway, you can point in a direction and hit the button to thrust, and if you hit anything, you’ll explode. You keep any souls you collect and respawn right away, though, so it’s easy to pick up and get going again. As the game progresses, the passages get tighter and more moving parts are introduced, requiring even greater precision. For a whole buck, this is a steal. Roombo: First Blood ($4.99)
