‘Samurai Shodown NEOGEO Collection’ Arrives on July 28th

Okay look, the new Samurai Shodown game is great and all, but as a retro enthusiast it was the other Samurai Shodown news we got around the same time that had my interest. Samurai Shodown NEOGEO Collection was announced to be under development by the good folks at Digital Eclipse, and I waited anxiously for its release. That wait will soon be over as the game is set to arrive digitally on July 28th with a physical release coming later in the summer. The collection includes the first five Samurai Shodown games, Samurai Shodown V Special, and the heretofore unreleased final NEOGEO game Samurai Showdown V Perfect. As with other collections from this developer, there’s an extensive set of extra features including a museum and music player. It also includes online play with… gasp… rollback netcode.
