Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for January 25th, 2021. In today’s article, we’ve got several new releases to check out. Some very odd ones, if I can be direct about it. There are summaries of all of them, of course. Such is the work. We’ve also got the lists of new and outgoing sales for you to check out, and that’s about it. Reviews are coming tomorrow, friends, I promise. Let’s slide on in and check things out!
New Releases
Solas 128 ($14.99)

A puzzle game of the sort where you’re positioning mirrors to reflect beams. There’s an added color element in this game to give it a bit more crunch. You might have to combine beams to create new colors in order to beat some of the screens. There are a few other interesting elements to help this stand out from similar titles, and you get a good 150 screens worth of interlocked puzzles, with the ultimate goal being to get a machine up and running again. It’s rather good if you enjoy this type of puzzle, but if you can’t get on with them it likely won’t win you over even with all of its extra tricks. The Unexpected Quest ($15.00)

This is a rather poor light strategy game, one that will make you appreciate the likes of Gnomes Garden. You manage building structures, battling monsters, and gathering resources as you complete a rather small number of stages.
