Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for March 17th, 2021. In today’s article, we’ve got news of an upcoming game that was announced as well as the next event in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. We also have summaries of all of the new releases that hit the eShop today, minus one cool surprise that you’ll likely know about by the time you read this. Sorry, I have no choice but to keep it in my pocket at the time of this writing. Finally, we’ve got the incoming and outgoing sales lists. It’s another relatively quiet one today, but things will pick up significantly tomorrow as is often the case on Thursdays. Let’s go!

‘Super Bomberman R Online’ Coming to Switch

In a not entirely shocking turn of events, previous Google Stadia exclusive Super Bomberman R Online will be making its way to other platforms soon. Konami announced that the free-to-play online multiplayer game for up to 64 players will come to the Switch with all of its features intact. Although the game is free to download and play, a Premium Pack will be available for $9.99 that gives you access to 14 different characters inspired by classic Konami franchises along with some other extra features. By most accounts this was a reasonably fun game, certainly worth trying out for free when it hits. No release date yet, but I imagine we’ll have one shortly.
