Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for December 23rd, 2020. It’s the day before the day before Christmas, and you would think the new releases and sales would be slowing down. But no, still an awful lot to look at today. If you caught yesterday’s article, you may already know that I was at the hospital today. It wasn’t quite as long as I thought it would be, but it was still long enough that today’s feature is a bit lighter than it may have been. Let’s check it out!

Sephiroth, New Mii Fighter Costumes, and More in the ‘Super Smash Bros.’ Update

While you may have already unlocked him via the Sephiroth Challenge last week, Sephiroth is now available for all who own the Fighters Pass 2 or the appropriate character pack. Also available are the new Mii Fighter costumes that feature Tifa, Barret, and Aerith from Final Fantasy VII and Geno from Super Mario RPG. Naturally all of this coincides with the latest update for the game, so go ahead and download that if you want to get at any of these goodies. Still a couple of open character slots to go. This is where I’ll note that Austin the Gardenscapes Butler doesn’t have a Trophy, Spirit, or Mii Fighter costume and is thus still on the table. New Releases
