Welcome to the SwitchArcade Roundup for June 19th, where we’re covering today’s Switch news, upcoming eShop games, new releases, and sales! Sadly, no news on the front of Sony cutting out their jerk-like behavior and letting Epic do cross-platform sync on the Switch. But, with Season 5 set to start soon, we’ll see if they change their tune when people buy their new Battle Passes. I know I’ll do mine on the Switch instead of PS4, though I’ll seriously miss the stuff I got from Season 3. Oh well.

Fortnite 4.4 Content Update out now
What’s new in Fortnite this week" The Stink Bomb, which slowly damages enemies! A Final Fight LTM is now in the game, where the team with the most members still alive at the end wins! Also, you can only carry 12 rockets unloaded at a time now, so that means a little less havoc you can wreak on your enemies’ fortresses at the end. You can be like me: don’t build anything because you don’t want people to know you exist, and pray you get to the final two and get the jump on a guy to pull down a Victory Royale.
Bomb Chicken gets price and release date
Nitrome’s Switch debut is coming soon: July 12th, for $14.99. The puzzle-platformer will have you playing as the eponymous bomb-laying chicken, causing explosive mayhem and trying to make your way through the world with your bomb-laying powers.
