Welcome to the SwitchArcade Roundup for June 22nd, where we’re catching you up on the latest Nintendo Switch news, new releases, and sales! A bunch of new sales went live recently after the June 21st E3 sales ended, so there’s tons of discounts to be had right now. I’m planning on wasting my weekend with Mario Tennis Aces while I also blast the new Khemmis album, Desolation, because that thing is a monster. If you like doom metal, or just good music in general, especially if you like album covers that belong on the side of a van, check it out.

Sonic Mania Adventures Episode 4 out now
The latest episode of the Sonic Mania cartoon miniseries is now up on YouTube! And once again, it’s really good. Sonic Mania Plus comes out next month, and this episode lets you see Mighty and Ray in action, both in the cartoon, and in the gameplay footage at the end. Mighty the Armadillo might at least be familiar to anyone who played Knuckles’ Chaotix (hello to the other 12 people that owned a 32X and played that game) though Ray the Flying Squirrel is only from the obscure SegaSonic the Hedgehog arcade game.

Remember the Squids RPGs for iPhone" Where you fought with, well, squids, launching yourself around arenas and battling enemies" Well, good news, that series saw release on 3DS and Wii U, and now it’s coming to the Switch on July 5th. You know, I bet there are more classic games like this ...
