Welcome to the SwitchArcade Roundup for June 7th! We’ve got a lot of cool news today, and a bunch of new sales just hit the eShop, so let’s not waste time and get right into the goodies. First off, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes was just confirmed for Switch! One week after a shameless clone released on the eShop, now Steel Crate Games is bringing the real thing to Switch. One player uses the system to try and defuse a bomb, while other players use the bomb defusal manual to instruct the defuser on what to do, with the game providing different prompts that require interpretation from the manual. The game is a lot of fun, but was originally designed for VR, though the fun comes from interacting with other people, and the panic that sets in when trying to defuse the bomb. VR just added an extra degree of immersion.

Paladins confirmed for Switch
While Blizzard keeps throwing cold water on the idea of Overwatch on the Switch, Hi-Rez Studios is set to drop their hero shooter Paladins on Switch. The game will launch first as a Founder’s Pack for $29.99 on Switch on June 12th, which unlocks all the heroes, with a free-to-play version releasing later in the summer for Switch. Between this and Fortnite, it’s sure to be a good summer for multiplayer gaming!
