Turn-Based Hex-Grid Survival Game 'Neo Scavenger' Set to Hit Mobile Soon
Blue Bottle Games is preparing their turn-based survival game Neo Scavenger for mobile. As some fine folks around the internet have started to discover, Daniel Fedor of the studio has been talking about the mobile version, including posting this screenshot of the future Google Play listing for the game:

Don't worry, Fedor has confirmed that the game is running on iOS as well as Android:
@AdamShaftoe Still in beta. But yeah, running on both iOS and Android!

So while there seems to be a lot of work put in to making some of the interface elements look good on mobile (a tip to developers: this is worth considering early on if you think your game would ever work on mobile someday), the game should be a good fit on mobile.

In Neo Scavenger, you'll be trying to survive in post-apocalyptic Michigan, navigating the wilderness and finding resources to help keep you alive and learn the truth of your identity. The game is turn-based and on hex grids, so I do believe it qualifies as a real game. It also features permadeath, with semi-randomized maps, so there's a high replay value potential here. This one looks really cool, and could be a great fit on mobile. Hopefully we'll be hearing more soon about this one.
