Bandai Namco Entertainment America announced the release of Pac-Man Pop on iOS and Android. The bubble shooter allows users to help Pac-Man complete stages by defeating ghosts, collecting fruit and more.
In each level of Pac-Man Pop, players are challenged to complete a different objective before running out of shots. For instance, one stage may ask players to free Pac-Man’s pets that are trapped inside bubbles, while another stage may ask users to pop ghosts by hitting them with bubbles.

Players can complete stages by shooting bubbles at bubble formations with the goal of creating matches containing three or more bubbles of the same color to remove them from the screen.
Users can activate boosters before and during levels to help them complete stages. For example, one booster allows users to shoot a rainbow bubble at the formation, which will match any bubble it touches, while another booster will extend the game’s aiming trajectory line so players can make more precise shots. Players receive some boosters for free, and they can purchase additional boosters with premium currency. Elsewhere, Pac-Man has his own special abilities players can activate in some stages. For instance, one ability allows users to destroy a group of bubbles in an explosion, while another ability allows users to clear two whole rows of bubbles from the screen.
