Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the release of EXTRA Slot Stars on mobile. Developed by Open Wager Studios, the slot machine game is based on television show Extra.
In EXTRA Slot Stars, users are guided through the game by the show’s host, Mario Lopez. Players start with access to a single slot machine, and they can unlock additional machines as they progress. In addition, each user can customize an avatar to represent them in the game.
As users spin the reels, they may activate bonus games that can allow them to earn bonus coins. Users can also earn free spin bonuses.
In addition, an Extra news ticker moves across the bottom of the screen, which contains links to stories on Extra’s website.
Elsewhere, players can receive bonus coins and unlock new clothing items for their avatars by completing specific objectives. For instance, one objective may ask players to win a certain number of free spins on a specific machine, while another objective may ask users to win the required number of coins on a specific machine, and so on. In a statement, Lopez commented:
