Facebook No. 1 in Tech, No. 2 Overall in Glassdoor?s Best Places to Work in 2017



If you?re looking for the tech sector?s Best Place to Work in 2017 according to the Employees? Choice Awards from Glassdoor, look no further than Menlo Park, Calif.
The jobs and recruiting marketplace released its annual Employees? Choice Awards winners Wednesday, and Facebook was the No. 1 tech company on its list of Best Places to Work in 2017, and the No. 2 overall company, trailing only Bain & Co.
The social network earned an overall company rating of 4.5 from Glassdoor, and a software engineer based out of its Menlo Park headquarters told the company:
From its openness to its diversity, Facebook has truly surpassed all tech companies in terms of culture, perks and employee lifestyle.
Facebook was named the No. 1 company on Glassdoor?s Best Places to Work list in 2013 and 2011, and in other recent years, it placed fifth for 2016, No. 13 for 2015, fifth for 2014 and third for 2012. Fellow social network Twitter just missed Glassdoor?s top 50 with a 3.8 rating, still far above the average of 3.3.
