Facebook Sets Up Shop in Paris? Station F Startup Campus
The ?first worldwide Startup Garage? at Station FÂ in Paris will devote several spaces to launch partner Facebook.
Station F announced in a blog post that Facebook will launch a program in April called Startup Garage From Facebook at Station F, which will be a six-month program designed for participation by 10 to 15 data start-ups, occupying an 80-zone area of the campus.
Station F provided more details in its blog post:

This six-month program is designed for 10 to 15 startups dedicated to data, which will take up an 80-desk zone on campus. Wait–?it gets even better: These startups and the rest of the entire Station F campus will be able to benefit from Facebook?s experts and experience in a variety of fields, including marketing, technical development, UX/UI (user experience/user interface) and more.
While Facebook already is a huge supporter of entrepreneurship around the world (with initiatives like F8Â and FbStart), this is the first time Facebook is investing in a physical space. And we couldn?t be more thrilled that it picked Station F to partner with.
Some of the first startups Facebook announced for its program were Mapstr, a great tool to bookmark your favorite places, and Chekk, a tool that helps you...
