Fantastic Beasts: Cases From the Wizarding World Launches on Mobile
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the release of Fantastic Beasts: Cases From the Wizarding World, a hidden-object game inspired by the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films.
While the game is set in the same world as the film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the game offers a separate story from the film, so users won’t have the film’s storyline ruined if they play the game before seeing the movie.
In Fantastic Beasts: Cases From the Wizarding World, players will join the Ministry of Magic as new members in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, Beast Division. Players will investigate “mysterious happenings” in order to protect the creatures of the wizarding world. In each hidden object scene, users will need to search for items on a list. Users can zoom in and out as they search for items, and they can also use a limited number of hints in each scene if they’re having trouble finding items.
Users will earn points when they complete a hidden-object scene, and these points will go toward unlocking stars for the scene. Users can earn up to five stars on each scene, and these stars can be used to complete tasks later on.
Specifically, as users progress through each case, they’ll collect clues and pieces of evidence that must be analyzed or examined. Some of these actions take time to complete, while others can be completed instantly using stars. Depending on the task, users ...
