Kobojo released Primal Legends on iOS and Android. The match-three puzzle battle game allows players to collect heroes to take into single-player and multiplayer battles.
In each battle, players can make matches with their soldiers to attack the enemy army. In addition to soldiers, players have access to special hero characters they can bring into battle once they’ve filled their battle bars. Players can fill a hero’s battle bar by making matches with soldiers of the hero’s color. Once a hero is added to the battle, users can trigger its special offensive or defensive ability.
Players can collect new heroes for their armies by collecting special hero cards (users can take four heroes into each battle). Free hero cards can be found inside mystery chests that players receive when they win battles. Each chest takes time to unlock, or players can spend premium currency to unlock a chest instantly. Additional mystery chests can be purchased in the game’s store using premium currency (these chests open instantly). Finally, users can also purchase cards in the game’s store using coins, the game’s free currency. The selection of available cards in the store will change over time.
Users can level up their heroes and increase their stats by collecting duplicate hero cards for each hero. The number of duplicate hero cards required for each level will increase as heroes are leveled up.
