Pokemon Go Was the Top Trending Android Game in the U.S. in July
Digital market intelligence company SimilarWeb revealed the top 10 trending Android games in the U.S. in July, determined based on both the percentage of installs on all Android devices and daily use.
SimilarWeb found that Pokemon Go was the top trending Android game in July. The game was reportedly installed on 13.78 percent of all Android devices in the U.S. last month. By the first week of August, Pokemon Go had become the 10th-most-used application in the U.S., behind apps such as Facebook, YouTube, Facebook Messenger and Google. The game was installed on 13.61 percent of all Android devices in the U.S by the first week of August.
EA’s NBA Live Mobile came in second on the top trending Android games chart in July, as SimilarWeb said it was installed on 1.3 percent of all Android devices in the U.S. last month. The game was reportedly the 78th-most-used app in the U.S. in July. By the first week of August, current installs had decreased to 1.21 percent, but its usage rank had improved from No. 78 to No. 76. King’s Farm Heroes Super Saga, Outfit7 Limited’s Talking Tom Gold Run and Disney’s Disney Emoji Blitz completed the top five.
