To celebrate the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in theaters, many Star Wars mobile games have been updated with new content inspired by the film, or are offering sales on in-game items.
These Star Wars games feature gameplay in a number of genres, from base-building and platforming to card collecting and more, so even if you’re not heading to the theater, there are still plenty of ways for you to experience the Star Wars universe this weekend.
Here’s a look at some of the Star Wars mobile games which have been updated with new content or sales.

Star Wars: Commander (Free on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Amazon) – Players of this base-building combat game from Disney Interactive can now relocate their base to Takodana, a planet in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. When players compete in player-vs-player battles on Takodana, they’ll have the chance to receive two new units inspired by the film: the Dowutin Hunter and Luggabeast Munitioneer (these units can be upgraded). In addition, players can receive up to 30 percent more content when making in-app purchases.
Star Wars: Force Collection (Free on iOS, Android) – This card battle game from Konami has been updated with a set of cards inspired by the new film, including five-star Rey, Kylo Ren and BB-8 cards, four-star Finn and Captain Phasma cards and three-star Resistance Soldier and Stormtrooper cards.
