Twitter Acquires Yes, Names Founder Keith Coleman VP of Product
Twitter finally found a replacement for former head of consumer product Jeff Seibert, who vacated the position in June, but the social network had to acquire a company in the process.
CEO Jack Dorsey announced via tweet that Twitter acquired startup application developer Yes, and that Yes founder Keith Coleman is the social network?s new vice president of product.
A Twitter spokesperson told Kia Kokalitcheva of Fortune that Coleman will report to chief technology officer Adam Messinger, while the rest of the Yes team will be added to various product and engineering teams at the social network.

Coleman will be Twitter?s fifth head of consumer product since 2014. Seibert stepped down from the post in June and returned to his former role of running developer product suite Fabric.
Yes is the developer of two apps: Frenzy, which provides a quick way for users to make plans with their friends; and WYD, short for ?What You Doing,? which allows users to share photo and video status updates with emoji and text.
However, both apps will be shut down, according to a note on Yes? website:
