Twitter Offers Election Information to Users Who DM @Gov
Twitter is doing its part to give voters in the 2016 presidential election as much information as it can.
Public policy manager Tom Tarantino announced in a blog post that users who send direct messages to @Gov, the Twitter Government account, will be able to access personalized information including polling locations, candidates, propositions and resources about absentee voting and state election rules. Facebook launched a similar initiative last week, vote planner.
