Ubisoft Launches NCIS: Hidden Crimes on iOS, Android
Ubisoft announced the release of NCIS: Hidden Crimes on mobile. Developed by Ubisoft Abu Dhabi in conjunction with CBS Interactive, the hidden-object game allows players to solve crimes alongside Gibbs, Abby and other characters from the NCIS television show.
During each case, players will search for clues and evidence by completing hidden-object scenes. In addition to standard hidden-object scenes, which ask users to find items on text lists, the game includes five additional scene types, such as “Silhouette” and “Time Attack.”
In Silhouette scenes, players must find items based on their silhouettes, rather than on their names. In Time Attack scenes, meanwhile, players must find the required objects before running out of time.
As players collect evidence, they’ll need to examine or analyze each piece of evidence in the lab. Users can spend coins to examine items, and these examination tasks will allow users to play one of nine mini-games. For instance, one mini-game resembles a jigsaw puzzle.
Meanwhile, “analyze” tasks can be started for free, but each one takes time to complete. Users can spend premium currency to speed up these tasks.
Users may also need to spend coins to interview suspects and witnesses, and to complete other story-based tasks.
If players need additional coins, they can replay scenes to collect special Trade Items that can be traded to Abby for coins. Specifically, players will need to fulfill AbbyR...
