All Our Asias Explores Race & Identity Through A Dying Father's Memories

All Our Asias takes players on a journey through a dying man's mind, getting to know him and the protagonist, Yuito, through the memories we see, the people we meet, and the moments we reflect upon. In doing so, we can help Yuito understand himself and his place in the world a little bit better, and all by exploring soothing, PSX-era landscapes.
Yuito is a Japanese-American hedge fund analyst, one who learns his estranged father is dying form a letter. It is much too late to be able to go visit the man in his final days, but Yuito is able to do a Memory World Visitation, exploring his father's memories given a kind of surreal, dream-like form. Through doing this and interpreting what he sees, players can help come to know this man, but also help Yuito come to terms with himself and his identity.
All Our Asias is a game "about race, identity, and nationality", delving into these concepts through the narrative and the abstract, calming environments the players wander through this memory journey. It's a solemn adventure of quiet places and sombre music, one that will effortlessly carry the player into a different life, helping them try to know and understand the connection between Yuito and his distant father.

All Our Asias is available for free (but you get a lot of incredible stuff if you buy the $4.99 edition) from Itch.io and Steam. For more information on the game and developer Sean Han Tani, you can head to the developer's site or follow them on Y...
