Bring A Sword To A Boss Fight In Bleed 2
The first Bleed was a challenging gem of an action game from the XBIG era, mixing fast-paced platforming with the screenfuls of bullets usually reserved for the most relentless shmups. Slow motion, triple aerial dashes, and balletic gunplay let you weave through the incoming hailstorms of bullets and lay waste to enemies on a quest to become the ultimate hero.
Four years later, Bleed 2 will be bringing even more chaos to its unique brand of bullet hell platforming on PC, Mac, and Linux.
The first game followed heroine Wryn as she wiped out the world's heroes to become the world's greatest, and the sequel follows her battles with emerging villains to retain that title. The slow motion, the evasive dashes, the aerial shooting all remain, but Bleed 2 takes the action to chaotic new heights. Where as the original had you fighting enemies while dodging between falling rocks, the follow-up features levels set on cars racing down the freeway as vehicles flip overhead and you leap from car to truck while bullets and rockets streak across the screen. Your bullet-reflecting sword has become a permanent addition to your arsenal, allowing for even greater amounts of projectiles to deftly cut through and giving you the ability to parry boss attacks.
If the array of bosses and bullets prove too much to handle alone, Bleed 2 will also feature local co-op so you can fight through the game with a friend. But even alone, Bootdisk Revolution promises a plethora of content, from ...
