Everything Is Going To Be OK's Final Update Brings Personal Exploration & A Fever Dream OS

Everything is going to be OK, a beautifully surreal and darkly funny game of healing tragedy through humor as best we can, has received one final update. In it, players can lose themselves in a 'fever dream OS', exploring the developer's own vulnerabilities, the sensations of an OS that doesn't necessarily want the 'player' there, and a powerful message of what digital experiences can be.
Building on a framework of bunnies going through horrible life experiences with dark, dark, dark senses of humor about it, Everything is going to be OK has an incredible ability to be scathing in its commentary on how we face tragedy in ourselves and others, yet also incredibly funny about how absurd it all is. It's game, again, designed to help us look at how we heal and maybe find a better way to help people who've been crushed under the boot of life.
This final version, filled with surreal, captivating environments built within digital places sculpted by kind hands, carries with it a message and meaning that should be experienced by anyone who cares to see just where games can go and what they can do. Part of this is in experiencing the writing and experiences for yourself, though, so I won't say any more (plus developer Nathalie Lawhead has a lot to say about this herself), save that I feel it's important you go play it.

Like, now.

Everything is going to be OK is available for whatever you wish to pay for it on Itch.io and GameJolt. For more information on the game and d...
