Point & click game Rusty Lake: Roots will have you playing as James Vanderboom, a man tending a special seed he has planted in his garden. From that seed will grow James' family tree, along with a series of bizarre flashbacks and surreal events that will give glimpses into the uncomfortable, strange past of James' family line, taking you ever deeper into a world of supernatural events and death.
To move through the odd events in James' family line and continue to grow the family tree, you'll have to solve an array of puzzles and brainteasers, all of which unlock further bits of the Vanderboom story. Each of these puzzles is contained within various portraits that appear in the tree, and these will follow the person depicted from birth until death, steadily unfolding the dark moments of each member's life.
Rusty Lake: Roots offers a few hidden secrets within the branches of its 33 stages, and promises to keep players trapped within its bleak, unsettling storyline for some time.
