Far From Noise - Conversations Had In A Car That's Teetering Over A Cliff
Sometimes, George Batchelor is making games about going on spicy dates with pugs, but at other times, he's making a contemplative piece about getting to know yourself, becoming attuned with nature, and accepting the possibility of your eventual death in Far From Noise, a game about a conversation had while you sit in a car that's teetering at the edge of a cliff.
Currently working its way through Greenlight, Far From Noise casts players as a 20 year old woman whose car is balancing on a cliffside. With the sun fading and your situation looking more and more grim, there's little you can do besides have a quiet conversation.
As you speak, you'll learn more about the woman and how she arrived in this situation. More importantly, you can help guide her in her connection with nature around her, a well as face her mortality together. Dynamic events promise to change up the story each time, creating a unique personal experience across multiple playthroughs.
There's no set release date right now, but Batchelor promises the frightening, yet deeply peaceful experience, will be available soon.
