Google Play's Indie Games Accelerator Looks To Help Independent Developers Grow



Budding Android developers from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam can apply to take part in Google Play's Indie Games Accelerator Program, a program designed to help independent developers grow their business, gain valuable development skills, and learn about leading and managing their teams. Using workshops, mentorships with skilled mobile developers, and help with connections to investors/publishers, the program hopes to help devs reach their full potential and find success in a challenging market.
With its expansion into South Asia, the Indie Games Accelerator offers a variety of benefits for chosen applicants, including training bootcamps at Google Asia's HQ in Singapore (all expenses paid), mentorships with successful mobile developers (Noah Falstein, Rami Ismail, Matt Hall, Mark Skaggs), opportunities to be showcased on Google Play, and lots of other handy things.
"Developers selected for the program will attend 2 all expense paid bootcamps in Singapore where they will attend presentations and workshops on different aspects of game development, user growth, game analytics, monetization, and leadership.
