Gordon Little's Spell Casting: Meowgically Enhanced Edition is a charming little game that has you casting spells by tracing lines in order to graduate from the wonderful and prestigious Magical Education Of Wizards School. Gather your young'uns and play this kid-friendly game, if possible on a tablet for maximum enjoyment. While it will probably have every hardcore gamer running for the hills, there is a lot of light-hearted fun to find here for the casual connoiseur. The jokes will probably be too nerdy for kids and the whole line-tracing thing too easy for adults, but if you're looking to play something together as a family, this is good stuff.
The game isn't done yet, but it will eventually have 3 main books - a book taking just a few minutes to complete - as well as one book of tricky puzzles and two theme books (Halloween and Christmas). The four main books will be done at launch in September and the themed ones released before the end of the year as free updates. Spell Casting is also looking to get greenlit, so give it your vote if you think there should be more kid-friendly spellcasting games about cat wizards on Steam.
