The shadows are deep in Lumote's mysterious technological world, but your cubic hero is more than capable of finding its way through the darkness. Developer Luminawesome's puzzle-platformer revolves around the power of illumination and using light to manipulate the game's environments and its geometric denizens.

As the titular cube, you move through a dark world of platforms, barriers, and enemies, jumping to extend the range of your light and slamming down to expand it further. Resonating over switches will activate objects in the world, from opening doorways to unfolding entire sections of a level. However, your light only reaches so far, but thankfully you aren't alone in Lumote.
Other beings reside in the game's levels, some hostile, but others passive and able to be controlled. In a recent gameplay overview, Luminawesome showed how you can use other light beings to reach higher areas, activate switches, and use each type's unique abilities to your advantage. Even enemies can both help and hinder, as you ride atop lane-bound creatures like an elevator and alter their paths to reach previously inaccessible platforms.
