FreakZone Games, developer of The Angry Video Game Nerd games, Manos: The Hands of Fate, and other fine pixelated action games, has released a short test video of his next project, Knight Terrors, a sidescrolling action game about chopping bats, skeletons, and other horror fare to bits.
Knight Terrors will be a "horror-themed beat 'em up runner". The game will continually test your monster-slaying skills, pitting you against more monsters with every stage you complete. Each area will be procedurally-generated, giving you an endless amount of spooky beasts to cut down with your screen-shaking swings as well. I guess this is what happens when one of the knights from Castelvania gets cranky with his creepy coworkers.
There is currently a GoFundMe page up for the project to help FreakZone with development of the project, which the developer hopes to release on iOS, Android, and PC shortly.
