NoClip's previous title Barrier X brought insane speed and vibrant style to the twitchy arcade action genre. Their side-scrolling follow-up Standby may leave the speeding ships behind in favor of a green suited hero, but the intense speed, slick style, and challenging gameplay remain.

Standby looks like an glitchscape successor to the flowing feats of sliding and leaping last seen in Dustforce. Through each digital level, you rush forward, wall-jumping, sliding over red platforms, shooting or slamming through yellow ones. The clock is always ticking, and only the smoothest movement through stages will shave seconds off your time. Stages will grow more complex, introducing new hazards and deadly traps as well as movement-enhancing elements that let you double-jump or catapult over large heights.
