A young girl is trying to free herself from an evil queen's castle when she stumbles across a large robot. The bond that forms between the two of them is what will help her escape in The Girl and the Robot, a new action/adventure game that just released on Steam.
The girl and the robot each have their own powers, making them better suited for certain tasks around the castle. Need someone small and nimble" The robot may be a poor choice. Need to smash three or four killer robots" The girl may want to sit that one out. Between combat and puzzles, each has a use in helping the other find their way through this fairytale land.
Beyond that, the developers are mum on the finer story details, although the game won a narrative design award at BitSummit back in 2014. Seems like something that may make for some fine story along with the hand-painted artwork.
