The Beard In The Mirror Is A Classic Adventure Game Of Escaping Mundane Life For A World Of Fantasy
Point & click adventure game The Beard in the Mirror is described as being "just like the games you used to play on your dad's weird friend's computer." As such, expect pixels, silly dialogue options, a point system, constant ridiculous death, and puzzles with solutions so obtuse that you will have to kidnap the developers* to have any hope of completing them.
*Indiegames.com and Joel Couture do not condone or encourage developer kidnapping. The dev team is much too nice for that kind of behavior.
The Beard in the Mirror stars a 22 year old who thought life would be much more exciting after college. Toiling away at a lousy job, he soon meets a mysterious woman who takes him to a world of adventure, romance, excitement, and execution via ogre. The point & clicker promises challenging puzzles and fun dialogue throughout, once again showcasing that oddball sense of humor that Oh, a Rock! Studios does so well (see Cat President and A Stranger Comes Calling for examples).
The Beard in the Mirror represents years of work and ideas for the husband & wife development team, and should provide many charming hours of fun whenever you're not bashing your skull to pulp against the nearest wall due to one of its puzzles (they're not actually that hard).
The Beard in the Mirror is available for $11.99 on Steam. For more information on the game and developer Oh, A Rock! Studios, you can head to the developer's site or follow them on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitte...
