Transcripted Mixes Top-Down Shooting & Match-3 Puzzles

Match 3 games are hard enough on their own. So are top-down shooters. Transcripted asks players to play the two types of games at the same time, shooting at enemies and dodging shots while trying to match up the right colors to clear the endless DNA chain that floats through the stage.
You play as a Nano Probe, a microscopic machine built to destroy diseases. You've been sent out into a body, and have to combat the various defenses and pathogens you run across. Shooting them makes them release colored cubes, which can be fired at the chains of cubes that float through each level. Match three of those and you clear them away, finishing the stage when both are gone. Naturally, juggling these two as the game gets harder makes for some frantic fun (although you can adjust the difficulty of either game aspect individually if you find either too challenging).
Transcripted had been previously released years ago, but was removed from Steam after some horrible, horrible trouble developer Alkemi claim they had with their previous publisher. Due to ongoing problems they state they are having with that publisher, this re-release, which comes with a new challenge and various tweaks, is the only one in which the developer makes any money, and so they ask that players only purchase it through Steam.

Since Transcripted is awesome and the funding will help the developers make their sharp-looking shmup Drifting Lands, seems like an easy decision to make to me.

Transcripted is...
