It looks like there might be some more Wii U ports headed to the Nintendo Switch in 2020. This new rumor stems from industry insider, Emily Rogers who has spoken about this situation on Reset Era. Rogers stated the following:
I can also confirm that Nintendo has (at least) two more unannounced Wii U ports. They are not difficult to guess because there aren?t many Wii U games left to port.
As always, we have been hearing rumors of a new Nintendo Direct happening in the near future, so we should be finding out soon enough. I would THINK the likely suspects would be Super Mario 3D World and maybe Pikmin 3 but we will see. I am kind of hoping for Paper Mario Color Splash to be honest… Which Wii U titles would YOU like to see ported to the Switch" More as it develops my friends, stay tuned.
