A brand new console will be headed to market in or around 3 years time my friends. It’s called “the mad box” and is being developed by the same team that brought us Project CARS. Earlier this week, Slightly Mad Studios CEO Ian Bell announced that his company was developing the new home console which will be a new standalone video game console to rival PlayStation and Xbox. First details were shared and now the first official image has been shown for the system (although we think the design will most likely change between now and release). Bell states that the Mad Box is “the most powerful console ever built,” featuring specs that “will be equivalent to a very fast PC two years from now.” We will see how this all comes to fruition but I will be keeping my eye on this interesting news.
