Today marks the arrival of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7 just in case you didn’t know. The all new season for Fortnite went live a few hours ago and it brings aliens from outer space, new cosmetics, new Battle Pass system, and a lot more. My boys set their alarms for early morning and have been playing the update like crazy since it just released. In case you haven’t figured it out already, this season revolves all around aliens and has introduced some crazy things into the popular battle royale game. I will test it out later and be sure to let you know what I think in a future podcast.

As usual, Fortnite will introduce a new Battle Pass to go along with the season but it has an interesting twist…. Instead of unlocking cosmetics by reaching specific levels on the Pass, players will instead earn Battle Stars every time they level up. Battle Stars can then be exchanged for Battle Pass rewards in whichever order players want.
Leveling up will unlock more pages of rewards, so more cosmetics to exchange for Battle Stars. There will also be special rewards that only become available after purchasing all the other rewards on a page.
