A recent rumor suggests that Nintendo is working on 2D Super Metroid remake and Metroid Prime Trilogy for Switch. I have heard the rumor about Metroid Prime Trilogy coming to Switch but the Super Metroid Remake is completely new. Now we all know that rumors are indeed rumors BUT the person who leaked this (Leaky Panda on Twitter) does have a decent track record so keep those fingers crossed.
