An all new patent from Sony has been uncovered and it features, what looks to be the Dualshock 5 controller for the next generation Playstation. The PS5, which is headed to stores late next year, has yet to officially be shown but we may have discovered what we can expect from the systems controller. Check out the image above and see what could possibly be the Dualshock 5 controller.
As we notice, the removal of the light bar is one of the most prominent changes to the controller from the DualShock 4. This image shows that both controllers are very similar which (in my opinion) could be a very good thing. Sony’s current controller, the Dualshock 4, is very comfortable and is as near to prefect as a video game controller would be. Sony did state however that they want to really push the envelope in terms of video game controllers so we will see how all of this pans out.
