More rumors have mounted regarding a new Nintendo Switch model for this year… Today’s news stems from a quote given by Video game industry site Games Industry. Dr. Serkan Toto from Kantan Game was EXTREMELY forthcoming about a new Switch and stated that “There is absolutely no doubt” in his mind that we would see the new console sooner rather than later. Here is the actual quote taken from the article:
Switch Pro launch ? There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Nintendo will launch a ?Switch Pro? in 2020, my guess is at $399. More specifically, I predict 4K support, bigger cartridge sizes, and of course beefed-up components. I also think the device will launch after the summer holidays to counter the roll-out of the PS5 and next-gen Xbox later in the year ? along with a first-party, system-seller game. I have always thought Nintendo would roll out a more powerful Switch console but we will see. The system is currently selling like gang-busters and has a FULL head of steam headed into 2020.
