“No matter how much I ask, I never get any news on Microsoft VR,” says Tessera Studios’ Pablo Lafora.
It appears as though Microsoft is not interested in bringing VR to its home consoles in the future if this new interview is anything to go by. The company may forgo VR functionality in its XBOX systems and will be focusing on cloud computing. With the introduction of XCLOUD, it appears as though Microsoft will be going into a different direction and will not focus on VR anytime soon. I am very interested to see how this all plays out as VR is definitely something I am interested in and MIGHT have a future in terms of gaming (I certainly think so).
