More details have been confirmed for Sony’s upcoming PS5 system. The console is set to release in 2020 and will feature a number of key features that will have gamers clamoring for its release. The system is said to feature a Solid State Drive which will DRAMATICALLY decrease landing times for the systems games. The PlayStation 5 will be backwards compatible with PS4 games, will have a disc drive and it’s been in development for over four years. As expected, a number of studios are already working on next-gen games so I cannot wait to see them for myself. The system will also have a feature called ray-tracing technology, which we think will be a HUGE DEAL in the next generation. The PS5 will indeed support 8K resolutions, and will be compatible with PS VR kits. I fully expect that Sony will be releasing a new PSVR for the PS5, but we will have more details on that (I am certain) at a later date.
