Super Mario Maker 2 doesn’t let you play online with friends according to new reports. Super Mario Maker 2 does indeed add online play, both competitive and cooperative but, according to Nintendo reps, players cannot match up with friends online. This is very disappointing news to say the least and I have no idea why Nintendo would decide to do this. 15 (YES 15) Years ago, Microsoft was perfecting playing online with friends and Nintendo still doesn’t seem to get it. This is very sad news considering that this is 2019 and is the norm to jump online and play with friends…
NOT cool Nintendo. I am a HUGE fan of your games but this is just unacceptable.
