Battlefield 1 Open Beta Drew 13.2 Million Players, The Light Tank Will Be Addressed

Wrapped up last week, the Battlefield 1 open beta drew 13.2 million players, making it the biggest beta in EA’s history, the company announced today. Here’s some other interesting stats from the beta:

Most Popular Classes Deployed: Assault (30%), Scout (28%), Support (21%), Medic (10%)
28.9 million melee kills
Most Destructive Elite Class: Tank Hunter
13 million kills scored by the armored train
23.8 million road kills
62.2 million kills while on a horse

DICE’s Aleks Grondal revealed that they’ll be taking beta feedback and implementing it into the finished game:

I want to personally thank you all for the great feedback you’ve given us. We’re trawling through forum posts, social media mentions, and digging into some great data. We’re identifying what worked well, and what didn?t work as well. We truly value your input. In the near future, we’ll have more details on the changes we’ll be making to the full version of the game (yes, the Light Tank performed a little too well, that will be addressed).
Battlefield 1’s 13.2 million beta players surpasses the 9.7 million in Overwatch, 9 million in Star Wars Battlefront, 6.4 million in The Division, and 6 million in Battlefield Hardline. The big numbers are good for EA, as they’re expecting Battlefield 1 to move just under 15 million units.
Battlefield 1 releases on October 21 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. By pre-ordering, you can gain access on October...
