Some fans around the world already have access to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Thus, information the rest of us aren’t yet privy to was bound to surface. One such detail concerns the first of four Black Ops Pass Blackout characters. The Black Ops Pass gives Season Pass holders exclusive access to four playable characters in the game’s Battle Royale Mode, Blackout. The first of these playable characters has been confirmed as Shadow Man, thanks to Black Ops 4’s subreddit.

Many may recall that Shadow Man first appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 during select Zombies maps. Eventually, the mysterious figure was revealed as the main villain of Zombies’ story. Shadow Man’s return as a playable character in Blackout is interesting, to say the least. As we’ve yet to learn the identities of the three remaining Black Ops Pass exclusive characters, there’s no telling what other surprises Treyarch has in store. Black Ops Pass also offers Season Pass holders an additional Zombies map, “Classified,” which will be available at launch. Post-launch content includes 12 multiplayer maps, four bonus maps for Zombies, and the other three Blackout characters.
