Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Support Planned “For Quite Some Time”

Developed by Raven Software, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is planned to be supported for “quite some time,” according to Director David Pellas. Part of this support includes the six additional multiplayer maps coming in December, as well as something Pellas can’t wait to talk about:

We have full intention of supporting this game for quite some time. What form does that support come in" I think fans are going to be really excited about some of the things that we?ve got kicking around at Raven.
I can?t announce anything yet but that?s the next thing I?m chomping at the bit to talk about.

Pellas added in his interview with Express that fans “should count on something being announced in the future.” According to Pellas, the biggest challenge for Raven was “maintaining the integrity of the gameplay experience while trying to modernize the visuals and presentation.” So, while you’ll find numerous visual improvements, “the gameplay has not been altered in anyway.” However, you may notice some presentation changes when aiming down the sights, but Pellas is quick to clarify that the actual timing hasn’t changed since the original release.
Meanwhile, Raven’s Amos Hodge revealed on Twitter that strafe jumping is back in Modern Warfare Remastered, and the Medal sounds will be unique to MWR.
