Preorder bonuses are commonplace in the video games industry, with many games offering some sort of digital DLC for committing to purchasing the product ahead of time. This will not be the case with Cyberpunk 2077, as CD Projekt Red said on Twitter that there will be no in-game preorder bonuses and explained why.
A fan of the game posted a screenshot of their messages with CD Projekt Red?s official Facebook page on Reddit. When the fan asked about whether or not players would receive digital, in-game pre order bonuses such as ?armors, money, and guns,? CD Projekt Red responded, ?No, we don?t do that. Every person that buys the game gets exactly the same in-game content, no matter if they buy it in pre-orders, on release date, or 2 years later.?
